Kings Lynn Town Res 3 Cornard United 2
Kings Lynn made four changes to the side which lost at Great Yarmouth. Youth team players Danny Setchell and Kieren Shipp both started at home for the first time. Lynn bossed the early parts of the game but could only manage long range shots at goal. Lynn went behind against the run of play after 10 minutes when Renne Swan poked home after a defensive mistake. Lynn continued to have more possession of the game but went into half time 1-0 down. Cornard then got there second of the game when they broke on the counter attack to make it 2-0 to Cornard. Lynn then introduced Alfa Jalo to the game and he made a instant impact by skipping past two Cornard defenders and curling in his shot from the edge of the box. Eoin Mcquiad then got the equaliser with a clever chip over the goalkeeper to square the game at 2-2. Mcquaid was then tripped over in the box for a penalty and he picked his self up to coolly win the game for the young linnets. The introduction of the two substitutes and a change of formation clearly change Lynn fortunes. MOM Eoin Mcquaid Lynn: Pearson, Shipp, McLeish, Bird, Spittlehouse, Stannard, Palmer (White), Curson, Tansley (Jalo), Setchell (Beales), McQuaid. Subs: Burch, White, Beales, Jalo, Duarte Attendance: 122
