Kings Lynn Town FC Hall Of Fame
This will be coming very soon and details will be published on the official website and forum.
Anybody want to start by putting any names out there who you think should be mentioned ? I am going to impartial on this one.

Nice general idea.
Is it a 'King's Lynn FC' & 'King's Lynn Town FC' Hall of fame as they are very separate entities.
If the history is to be embraced then it must be consistently embraced, not just when for advantage, as seen over the last few years
Pedantic? maybe. Correct? Yep.

Without being rude I'd say Pedantic as the history is the supporters memory's and the hall of fame is something of a idea put forward by the supporters at club forum

As I said earlier big Jack is worth a shout, but I can not believe that nobody has mentioned the legend that is Mal Lindsay. What a player, and still seen standing on the Walks.

I agree with the names mentioned above. Mick Wright of course holds the British Record for club appearances and Malcolm Lindsay is still King's Lynn's all time record goalscorer.
The memory will always be kinder to our more recent 'heroes', but what about Gary Setchell?
Two successful spells as a player: Part of the team that was promoted from the Midland League in 1996 and the Eastern League in 2004. Part of the team that won the Southern League Cup in 2005. Only the third King's Lynn manager to pass 300 games. Also won two promotions as a manager.

Do you have any detail on the form that the idea will take? It's name is very relevant. If it's a mix then this needs stating. To note, I would very rarely take one persons sensible response as rude, unless it was of that odious banter variety.

The 'Hall of Fame', will have to cover King's Lynn FC otherwise the only person from the new set up who would qualify is Setch and we would have to take into account his playing time with the old club. Under FA rules we had to change the club name and I think the vast majority of supporters would have preferred to keep the old name. I suggest the old name be used for the hall of fame, particularly if the playing/managing record of each person should be included as well as a photograph etc.

Hi Linnet Thanks for the reply, details of the hall of fame will feature on the clubs website and forum in the next few weeks but it will definitely involve all supporters and I will involve all players from the start to this date. Cheers Admin
