As we have had constant drizzle all day will the game go ahead? Is this now the time for setch and the FOTL to get sat down and raise funds for ground covers and astroturf sidelines?

I don't think we need ground covers etc, it would also take a lot of fund raising, our pitch is better than most, I am not saying we will never get another game called off because of rain, if you went back 30 years I would agree. We also have a very good groundsman. I like you Griss have been to grounds were they have played in awful conditions, and also I have been to grounds were the game was called off when playable, I am very much in favour of the decision being left to the managers of both sides.

Lynn have the Edge LYNN HAVE THE EDGE Posted on 13th December 2015 King’s Lynn Town 1-0 Frome Town Local lad Dylan Edge was the Linnets hero as he climbed of the substitutes bench to net the winner in the final ten minutes of the game. Frome had the better of the first half and the home side had to be thankful to goalkeeper Alex Street who’s string of saves kept the game goalless going into the break. The Linnets came out second half and showed more intent in their football, Much like Street in the first half Frome had their keeper Darren Chitty to thank for keeping them in the game so long. Chitty first prevented Toby Hilliard from point blank range from opening the scoring when the ball deflected into the young strikers path from a Liam Hurst free kick, only minutes later Chitty was called upon to prevent Ryan Fryatt from netting at the back post. Just as together match looked destined for a draw, Lee Stevenson showed some fancy footwork to get into the box, The ball some how made its way into the path of Edge who was on hand to sweep the ball past the despairing Chitty. Match day sponsor MOM: Lee Stevenson Lynn: Street, R Fryatt, Miller, Gaughran, Yong, Bridges, Clunan, Hurst, Stevenson (Castellan, 90+2), Friend (Hilliard, 58), Zielonka (Edge, 71). Unused subs: L Fryatt, Simpson. Booked: Hurst, Hilliard. www.youtube.com/watch?v=tVYAfctIlu8
